Many people are surprised about what can be found in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, like a spa, boutiques, antiques, museums, furniture store, old style barber shop with a lady barber, wedding venues, a Blue Angel, Blue River, Pennington Creek, Tishomingo Wildlife Refuge, public hunting and fishing areas, golf course, small casino and tobacco shop (soon to be large casino and hotel), and The Voice and Country Music Star Blake Shelton’s Ole Red Entertainment Venue located on Main Street in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Ole Red’s includes 5,000 sq. ft. and houses a restaurant, bar, live music and retail space. It’s based on Blake Shelton’s hit song Ol’ Red – take a listen! I doubt we ever see Blake with long hair again like in the Ol’ Red video, but you never know when you’ll see Blake and his friends cruising the roads and eating out in Tishomingo at one of his favorite places! You may remember a news story from the big flood in our area when Blake rescued a local from the flood waters and drove him home! Now that’s Southern Hospitality and it’s good to know that Blake hasn’t forgotten his roots and how to help take care of his friends and neighbors.

During trout season the Wildlife department stocks trout every couple of weeks. Late Summer, they stock catfish!!!
